About Me

My Background

I am a dedicated and passionate Software Engineer and Software Developer with a strong foundation in C#, .NET technologies, full-stack software development and 5+ years of experience. I graduated from Grinnell College in 2020 and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Information Sciences with a concentration in Software Engineering and Testing, which I am slated to complete by June 2025.

Over the past five years, I have honed my skills as a Software Developer by working extensively with C#, .NET MAUI, ASP.NET MVC, SQL, Angular, and REST APIs, among other technologies. My professional experience includes designing and building scalable software applications, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and leveraging cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure to deliver robust, enterprise-grade solutions. I also have hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, streamlining deployment and release workflows.

In addition to my technical experience as a Software Engineer, I’ve expanded my knowledge base by exploring modern cloud infrastructure and microservices architecture, including recent work with AWS, Firebase, and React Native on personal development projects. I consistently strive to learn and apply new technologies that enhance performance, user experience, and software maintainability.

Outside of work and academics, I am a creative at heart. I produce and compose music, write adventure fiction, and maintain an active lifestyle, whether in the gym or enjoying soccer as a devoted Manchester United fan. I believe these passions fuel my ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and approach software development challenges with creativity and adaptability.

Currently based in Chicago, Illinois, I am actively seeking opportunities to contribute to impactful software engineering projects that push the boundaries of technology and innovation.
